Get Crafty with Lent

What better way to prepare your little ones for Lent than with a new craft. This season we are going to be reflecting on the heart and what Jesus has to say about it. Dive into our heart pinata tutorial to get ready…and have a little fun! Our video below shows you how easy it is to get started.

PINATA TOOLS

Cardboard, Tissue Paper, Scissors, Duck Tape, Treats, Double Stick Tape, Yarn or Ribbon.

CRAFT STEPS

Step One:

Cut out two matching heart shapes from cardboard. Then cut one 3 inch strip that is the shape of the heart.

Step Two:

Duck Tape the strip to each side of the heart shapes, leaving you with a depth of 3inches between the hearts.

Step Three:

Decorate your heart shape, then fill it up with treats.

Step Four:

Glue or Tape your ribbon to the slight opening of your pinata heart shape.

Step Five:

Have Fun!!!
