Creative Worship Edition
StoryMakers Church Cohort
What is Creative Worship Edition?
This StoryMakers project is funded by a grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc. through the Nurturing Children in Worship and Prayer Initiative. With this generous funding, StoryMakers plans to develop new resources to inspire and equip congregations to:
Incorporate creativity in worship
Enhance worship for children
Bring the Bible to life through art and imagination
Participants in the Cohort will receive digital and physical materials to use in the worship space and to support faith formation for all ages through imagination, creativity, story and play. In addition, the churches in the cohort will also receive expert coaching, training and a supportive network of churches seeking to inspire creative worship for people of all ages.

The application is open to church leaders in the United States (pastors, children’s ministers, worship directors, lay leaders). Applications will be accepted through the fall of 2025, and the cohort will be selected by early 2026.
