The Christmas Star
Year after year, StoryMakers tell the most magical story of the year, the story of Jesus. As you prepare for the season ahead, our team wanted to share a FUN and easy way to reboot, The Christmas Star.
Pro-Tip: Here at StoryMakers, we love to gather recycled materials, items you are ready to off-load going into the New Year. So we encourage you to take a look around and gather tired fabric, cardboard, confetti, glue, pastels, and ribbon.
Step 1: Gather your tools.
Tools: Cardboard, pastels, glue, confetti, ribbon, and scissors.
Step 2: Cut out 2 large star shapes from your cardboard
Step 3: Invite StoryMakers to decorate the front side of the star with pastels and confetti
Step 4: Create two holes on the top left and right side of your stars. Take your ribbon and thread it through the stars to create the “sandwich board” effect.
Step 5: Place the star overhead a Storymakers and that is it!
